Youth Collapses and Dies On Trail... A seventeen year old male collapsed near the Westbranch trail, northwest of Chambers Lake in Larimer County at approximately 10:30 A.M. on Monday. Thirty volunteers and staff from Larimer County Emergency Services, Sheriff’s Office, Search and Rescue, Coroner’s Office, United States Forest Service and Colorado State Forest Service responded to assist. The young man was apparently camping with a church group when he became ill. He collapsed and CPR was administered for a considerable length of time. No more information is available at this time.
