Sunday, October 2nd - Photo Of The Week... This week's photo was taken by area photographer Darrell Spangler, and features the spectacular colors of the turning Aspens on Storm Mountain. Local residents are currently being treated to displays like this daily. While the Aspens at higher elevations have past their peak, many trees in the foothills are just now reaching their full beauty. As well as the hillsides, the area river banks are another good spot to see some of Colorado's wonderful fall colors, which are being reported as exceptional this year. More photos of the Aspens on Storm Mountain, and a set of photos taken recently by Spangler in Rocky Mountain National Park, are currently being featured on CBS News4's, "Colorado Colors", website. |
