Saturday, October 8th - "Winter Storm Watch" Issued For Northeast Colorado...The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a, "Winter Storm Watch", for northeast Colorado including the Drake, Glen Haven and Storm Mountain area, in effect from Sunday evening through Monday evening. This is a watch and not a warning! A VIGOROUS STORM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO COLORADO SUNDAY AND CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT. WIDESPREAD SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE NORTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS AND FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS STARTING SUNDAY AND CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY EVENING. IT IS ALSO EXPECTED TO BE BECOME COLD ENOUGH FOR RAIN TO CHANGE OVER TO SNOW ACROSS THE URBAN CORRIDOR AND PALMER RIDGE BY SUNDAY NIGHT CONTINUING INTO MONDAY EVENING. APPROPRIATE MEASURES SHOULD BE TAKEN BY ALL PEOPLE LIVING IN THE WATCH AREAS AS THIS WILL BE THE SEASON'S FIRST SIGNIFICANT SNOW STORM. DRIVERS IN THE WATCH AREAS SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT WILL LIKELY ENCOUNTER HAZARDOUS WINTER ROAD CONDITIONS. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WITH THIS STORM HAVE THE POTENTIAL OF EXCEEDING 12 INCHES. REMEMBER...
